We can see here a dragons breath drone being followed at close range by another drone.
While not designed to inflict casualties on entrenched enemy soldiers, you can see that the thermite dispensing munition attached to the drone does a good job of burning brush and bushes around enemy positions.
A Ukrainian drone operator recently told me:
“It’s not really meant to actually burn them in their holes. The only way they’ll really get hurt is if we hover above them and just pour it on them, or if they’re passed out drunk in the bushes we are burning.”
Removing vegetation around enemy positions is important because it removes the concealment for enemy trenches, and weapon emplacements like artillery, SPG and AGS weapons firing points.
These “Dragons Breath” drones excel at that task.
